This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Patriots for Life (“us”, “we”, “our”) collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users of Patriots for Life’s website (the “Site”).
By using this Site, you agree that your use of the Site is governed by this Privacy Policy. From time to time, we may update this Privacy Policy. Any changes made to this Privacy Policy will become effective as of the date of posting with respect to the information we then collect in the future, but will not apply to information that we have already collected. It is and will be your responsibility to periodically check this Site for updates and make sure you are aware of the changes. Your continued use of the Site affirms your agreement to any changes we make to this Privacy Policy.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT AUTOMATICALLY
If you visit our Site to browse, read, or download information:
- Your web browser automatically sends us (and we may retain) information such as the:
- Internet domain through which you access the Internet (e.g., yourServiceProvider.com if you use a commercial Internet service provider, or yourSchool.edu if you use an Internet account from your school);
- Internet Protocol address of the computer you are using;

- We will use this information as aggregate data to help us maintain this Site, e.g., to determine the number of visitors to different sections of our Site, to ensure the Site is working properly, and to help us make our Site more accessible and useful.

- We will not obtain personally identifying information about you when you visit our Site, unless you choose to provide such information. You may elect not to allow us to collect and use this non-personally identifiable data as part of our service by following the Opt Out procedures described below.

If you choose to identify yourself (or otherwise provide us with personal information) when you use our online forms:

We may also collect demographic information such as gender, date of birth, occupation, employer name and zip code. In limited circumstances, we may collect payment information such as credit card number where needed to complete a requested service or transaction. We will use this information to try to fulfill your request and may use it to provide you with additional information at a later time. We may share your information with third parties.
- If you request information, services, or assistance, we may disclose your personal information to those third parties that (in our judgment) are appropriate in order to fulfill your request. If, when you provide us with such information, you specify that you do not want us to disclose the information to third parties, we will honor your request. Note, however, that if you do not provide such information, it may be impossible for us to refer, respond to or fulfill your request.
- If your communication relates to a law enforcement matter, we may disclose the information to law enforcement agencies that we deem appropriate.

We may share this information if: (1) you authorize us to do so; (2) it is necessary to allow our service providers or agents to provide products or services for us; (3) it is necessary in order to provide our products or services to you (and contacting you when necessary); (4) subject to applicable contractual or legal restrictions, it is necessary to disclose to entities that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other entities with whom we have joint marketing agreements; (5) subject to applicable contractual or legal restrictions, it is necessary in connection with a transfer of all or substantially all of the assets of Patriots for Life or its merger into another entity or like transaction in which Patriots for Life is not the survivor; (6) it is necessary in connection with other business purposes including, without limitation, responding to your inquiries or requests for information or services, customer care, service quality, business management and operation, risk assessment, security, fraud and crime prevention/detection, monitoring, research and analysis, marketing and fundraising, customer purchasing preferences and trends, and dispute resolution; (7) it is necessary to disclose in order to protect or defend our rights or property or those of our users; (8) it is necessary to disclose in order to protect the personal safety of our users or the public; (9) it is necessary for us to provide it to our attorneys, accountants, regulators, auditors or other advisors; or (10) otherwise as we are required or permitted by law or required to comply with legal process served upon us, our agents, representatives or our affiliates. We may also aggregate your personal information with the information of others and may disclose such information in aggregate form for marketing and promotional purposes in a way that would not identify you individually.
Use of Non-Personally Identifiable Information: We and our service providers or agents that provide services for us may use non-personally identifiable information as part of the services to better tailor advertisements and other content in an effort to create a more relevant experience for each person that visits the Site or elsewhere on the Internet. This non-personally identifiable information may also be used to predict responses to advertisements, to help determine which ads perform best and which content is most appropriate for different individuals, to measure and optimize the effectiveness of advertisements and to provide aggregate reporting to our service providers or agents and for our and their internal purposes.
We use various web site analytics tools and technologies regarding activities on the Site that require storage of web session data. The overall aim of these tools is to aid in making the Site easy to use, to proactively identify and correct error conditions and to provide more relevant advertising and content to you. These tools and technologies are also used to assist Site visitors who report problems in the use of the Site. Stored web session data is used in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Third Party Use of Cookies: We use cookies to compile aggregate non-personally identifiable data about Site traffic and Site interaction so that we can offer better Site experiences and tools in the future. CONTESTS, SWEEPSTAKES AND OTHER PROMOTIONS
On the Site, you may wish to participate in contests and other promotions that we may offer from time to time. Through these promotions, you may choose to participate in activities such as sharing information found on the Site with others and sending e-mail invitations. CHILDREN’S ONLINE PRIVACY PROTECTION ACT COMPLIANCE
We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act), in that we do not knowingly collect or maintain personal information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our Site, information and services are all directed to people who are at least 18 years of age or older, and you must be at least 18 years old to have our permission to use this Site. We expressly do not target and are not seeking to do business with those under the age of 18.

This Policy does not apply to such linked sites, and we are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of these websites or any other sites that are linked to from our Site. We suggest you learn about their privacy and security practices and policies before providing them with personal information.
Any information, communications, or material of any type or nature that you submit to the Site (including, but not limited to any of our pages contained on a social media platform or web site such as Facebook or Twitter) by e-mail, posting, messaging, uploading, downloading or otherwise (collectively, a “Submission”), is done at your own risk and without any expectation of privacy. We cannot control the actions of other users of any social media platform or web site and we are therefore not responsible for any content or Submissions contained on such sites and platforms. By visiting any of our pages or websites that are contained on a social media platform or web site, you are representing and warranting to us that you have reviewed the applicable privacy policy and terms of use of such platform or website and that you will abide by all such provisions contained therein.
Additionally, in the event that we offer a message board or any other interactive or social-type feature on a web site administered directly by us, please be aware that these areas may allow you to publicly post, and share with other users, certain messages, content, or other information (e.g., stories, pictures, opinions, etc.). Although we may take certain precautions to protect those who use these areas of one of our web sites, we encourage you to be wary of giving out any personal information in such public forums. The information you post can be collected and used by people you don’t know. We cannot guarantee the privacy and safety of these areas and are therefore not responsible for any information you choose to post. Your use of these features is fully at your own risk.
SECURITY
We take reasonable precautions to protect your information in an effort to prevent loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Please be aware, however, that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable and no method of data transmission that can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.
Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page.
While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
California
Under California Law, California residents have the right to request in writing from businesses with whom they have an established business relationship, 1) a list of the categories of personal information, such as name, e-mail and mailing address and the type of services provided to the customer, that a business has disclosed to third parties (including affiliates that are separate legal entities) during the immediately preceding calendar year for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes and 2) the names and addresses of all such third parties. California users also have the right to request that we either 1) disclose the specific personal information we have obtained about you; 2) delete all information we have obtained about you; 3) correct any information we have obtained about you; or 4) limit the use of information we have obtained about you. We will respond to such requests for information access within 45 days following receipt at the e-mail address stated above. If we receive your request at a different e-mail or mailing address, we will respond within a reasonable period of time, but not to exceed 90 days from the date received. Please note that we are only required to respond to each customer twice per calendar year.
Patriots for Life does not currently engage in activities that constitute a “sale” for purposes of California’s privacy law. However, if you are a California user and would like to request that we not sell that information in the future to any third party whatsoever, click here to make that request: DO NOT SELL MY PERSONAL INFORMATION. A California user’s exercise of the rights described in this section will not result in discriminatory treatment by Patriots for Life.
Nevada
Under Nevada law, a Nevada resident who has provided Personal Information to a business with whom he/she has established a business relationship for purposes related to personal, family, or household use (“Nevada user”) is entitled to request that we not make any sale, as defined in applicable law, of any Personal Information collected, or to be collected, about you to any third party whatsoever. Additional State Privacy Rights
Under their respective state laws, residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia have the right to 1) confirm whether we process their personal information; 2) access personal information we have collected about them; 3) delete personal information; or 4) opt out of the sale, transfer or processing of their personal data, or its use for targeted advertising. Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia residents may further request that we correct any inaccuracies in their personal information.
Residents of Nebraska and Montana may request to receive a copy of their personal information in a portable and, to the extent technically feasible, readily usable format.
Oregon, Delaware, Maryland, and Minnesota residents have the right to obtain a list of third parties with whom we have shared your personal information.
In addition to the right to opt out or otherwise limit the use of the processing of your personal information, residents of New Hampshire and Utah also have the right to request notices of any such use.
Colorado residents are permitted to authorize another individual, acting on the consumer’s behalf, to opt out of exchanges of personal information for money or other valuable consideration or processing for targeted advertising purposes, including through opt-out preference signals. We will respect an opt-out request received from a person so authorized to act on your behalf, so long as we can authenticate your identity and the authorized agent’s authority to act on your behalf.
To authenticate your request, we may require you to provide information to enable us to match that information to the records we maintain.
We will maintain and use de-identified information that does not constitute personal information in the de-identified form and will not attempt to re-identify such de-identified information except to the extent permitted under applicable law. We process personal information as described in this Policy.

DONATIONS
When you make a donation to Patriots for Life, applicable state or federal law may require us to collect and report certain information. Accordingly, we collect the following: name, mailing address, email address, phone number, and the amount of the donation. All donations made to the Site are considered final unless the donation is not in compliance with applicable law. Online donors have the option to store their credit card information when registering with the Site. Online donors taking advantage of this option will have their credit card information securely saved through a third-party payment processor.
VISITING THE SITE FROM OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES
This Site does not intend to target any users who are residents of the European Union, nor does intend to provide any goods or services to any users who are residents of the European Union. If you are visiting the Site from outside of the United States of America, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored or processed in the United States, where our servers are located and our central database is operated. The data protection and other laws of the United States and other countries might not be as comprehensive as those in your country, but please be assured that we take steps to protect your privacy. When we do, we will post a notification on the main page of our Site and revise the updated date at the bottom of this page.
